We recognise that modern life asks for flexibility. That's why we introduce a sewing club card with a credit of 5, 10 or 15 lessons. We kindly ask you to plan the lessons you bought ahead so we have an overview of who wants to join when. 

Please note: Lessons can only proceed if there are more than 4 participants. If not, the class will be canceled. 

For who is this class:

This class is for you if you want guidance on a new sewing project, need to finish existing projects, aspire to build on your existing skills or simply find joy in gathering with other sewing enthusiasts.  

 

Workshops are led by a professional seamstress teaching techniques that align with your level, instructions for efficiencies and the artistry of creating quality garments, home goods, accessories into completed projects.  

 

Building your skills

During these lessons, let's identify your goals, address challenges with solutions for mending, alterations, up-cycling, using practical skills that prolong your investment in your wardrobe or sewing projects.  

 

About the class

Workshops are 2,5 hours, maximum 5 participants, for all levels but requires basic sewing knowledge. If you are completely new to sewing, perhaps enroll in our one day course ‘1 Day Intro to Sewing: Ready, Set, Sew!’ before embarking on bigger projects.  

 

Included in the workshop
Sewing machine / overlock machine / ironing station / coffee / herbal tea / basic tools for measuring & cutting / pattern paper.  

 

For you to bring

Recommended for you to bring in your personal kit: a project, fabric, thread, scissors, measuring tape, seam ripper, pins, hand sewing needles, needed notions; zipper/buttons/elastic.  Natural fiber fabrics and notions from around the world are available at FOLK+FIBER to purchase for your projects (but not required).

Check the schedule if there is availability for your preferred time slot. After purchasing your club card, plan your lessons so your favoured spot is secured. Your purchased lessons will be added to your account and are valid for 2,3 or 4 months depending on your purchased plan.
